What's everyone up to this weekend? Lots of Mother's Day activities I'm sure. Here's my Green Goddess Crackers recipe, perhaps mom would enjoy? I love to have these with a nourishing broth, sardines, or on their own. Depending on your love for spice, you can always add more chilli flakes, I usually make them nice and spicy! Would love to hear how it goes, make sure to leave your comments.
Ingredients: Leftover almond pulp from making almond milk (about 1/2 cup) 2 Tbsp Fresh Ground Flax 2 Tbsp Hemp Hearts 1 Tsp Nutritional Yeast 1 Tsp Chilli Flakes (or more) 1 Tsp Chlorella 1 Tsp Spirulina 1 Tsp Sea Veggie Mix (optional) 1/2 Tsp Ground Pepper 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder 1/2 Tsp Wasabi Powder 1 Sheet of Nori ground in coffee grinder 1 Tbsp Olive Oil or Melted Fat of choice 1 Tsp Wheat Free Tamari or Coconut Aminos
Method 1. Preheat oven 175 F 2. Combine all ingredients and mix to form a batter. You may need to drizzle a little more olive oil to combine into a ball. 3. Form into a ball and place on parchment paper with another sheet over top. 4. Roll with rolling pin to make a uniform sheet, I make mine quite thin. 5. Cut rectangle into squares, and use fork to poke holes in crackers. 6. Dehydrate in oven for approximately 1.5 hours, flip crackers and dehydrate another hour or until desired crispiness!
